Debe utilizarse cuando se importan jaulas planetarias de acero fundido con las características específicas detalladas, como número de dientes, diámetro, longitud y dureza, para su uso en transmisiones mecánicas o maquinaria industrial.

La jaula debe ser de acero fundido, con engranajes internos o externos en estándar de diametral pitch, entre 27 y 70 dientes, diámetro entre 300 y 725 mm, longitud entre 225 y 800 mm, con 3 o 4 planetarios y una dureza entre 40 y 45 HRC.
